ABOUT NORTH SHORE PORT MOODY | PORT MOODY, BC

Port Moody’s North Shore neighbourhood is situated between Heritage Mountain, Barber Street and Port Moody Centre. This Port Moody neighbourhood is comprised of condo’s-mainly in the Newport Village neighbourhood, townhomes, and single-family homes.

North Shore Port Moody is known for having beautiful trails, parks, and stunning waterfront homes with one-of-a-kind views.

One of the most popular destinations in this Port Moody neighbourhood is Old Orchard Park and Hall. Old Orchard Park is Summertime favourite as it is home to the only beach in Port Moody. It’s a great spot for birthday parties and family gatherings as it has a large, sheltered picnic area and playground. Old Orchard Hall has become a sought-after wedding and event venue due to its breathtaking views of the Burrard Inlet. Connected to Old Orchard Park is Shoreline trail, the multi-use trail runs along the inlet towards Rocky Point Park and is 6km roundtrip.

Including, Port Moody Public Library, Port Moody Recreation complex which features an ice rink, recreation programs, sports courts and is home to the Port Moody Farmers Market. Residents can also enjoy easy access either by car or foot to Newport Village. Newport Village offers great options for grocery shopping, coffee shops, restaurants, beauty salons, banking and much more. North Shore Port Moody is also home to a number of flagship parks and trails. 

NORTH SHORE PORT MOODY TRANSIT

North Shore Port Moody offers several bus stops and routes throughout the neighbourhood. Newport Village located in North Shore Port Moody is only a 7-minute walk to Inlet Skytrain station. Inlet Skytrain station offers connections to Port Moody Centre and Coquitlam Central Station which are the two main transit hubs in the Tri-Cities.
